Course Description：
This course instructs students on working principle and application technology of high and low voltage electrical apparatus in the industrial manufacture. It introduces the constructions, the principles and the technical parameters of the common distributing apparatus and Relay on low-voltage line, and the design method of low voltage control circuit. It also introduces the line current and high-voltage switch withstanding recovery voltage when the inductive/capacitive load switches on/off or the short circuit fault occurs on the high-voltage line, as well as the structure and operating principles of all kinds of circuit breakers used on high-voltage line. Through this course, the students can master the basic theory of high-low-voltage electrical apparatus, which will help them lot in their future work on the power transformation and distribution automation fields and the design and manufacture of high-voltage electrical apparatus fields.
