Course Description:

Introduction of Electrical Engineering is a former course for all the specialty technical courses,  which purpose is to let the students to have an overall understanding to their department. In this course the basic concepts, basic specialty directions and their latest developments of electrical engineering will be clarified. The experience in this course is very beneficial to the students to select an appropriate specialty direction according to their interests and social demands. And, all the research objects of all specialty directions, the application of power electronics, information technique, control technology in electrical engineering area should be also introduced. Students will be more novel and aspire to the latter lessons after this course.

The course consists of several lectures given by academicians and famous doctor supervisors. The grade of this course is check, and given according to a social investigating report finished in holiday.

Course Description:

Integrated course project of electrical apparatus contains two parts: low-voltage apparatus and high-voltage apparatus. The low-voltage apparatus part focuses on the design of electrical apparatus control system, aiming at the students' mastery of apparatus' flow chart method, and its usage in motor control. The high-voltage apparatus part focuses on the design of operating mechanism in high voltage breaker, including the calculation and design of springs' compressing parameters, components' kinetic parameters, electromagnets' EM parameters, aiming at the enhancement of students' mastery in the design of operating mechanism.
