Course Description:

This is the main basic course for the specialty of power system and automation. We begin with the introduction to the main connection line of power system and its form, the method of restricting the short circuit current and peculiarity of all kinds of main connection lines of the power plants and power substations. Secondly, we introduce various types of main lines of plant itself, and how to design these main lines. And we introduce how to select the motors for the plant and verify whether it can start up. Thirdly, we introduce how to select the lines, cables, insulators, thimbles and high voltage breaks and switches, and other electric equipments including current transformers, voltage transformers, the reactors and high voltage fuses. Finally,we discuss the running problems of synchronous generators and power transformers.

Course Description:

This course is a foundational course for the specialty of electrical engineering and its automation. The past, present and future development of the computer simulation are first introduced. The mathematics model is classified respectively, while the mathematics models of continuous systems and discrete systems and sampling systems will be introduced. Then we introduce the methods of structuring the mathematics model of continuous systems and discrete systems, and the methods of transform model that involve linearizing the nonlinear model, reducing the model rank, transforming a continuous system to be discrete and transforming the model to another form. Next we discuss the numerical value simulation method of continuous systems, including the Euler method and the betterment Euler method, Adams method and Runge-Kutta method, linear lot steps method and variable step length method. Then analysis of the stability of numerical value integral and the select method of numerical value integral are discussed. And the simulation method of sampling control systems is introduced. Finally, introduce the common computer simulation software and the development of the computer simulation software.
