Pre-requirements listed as Applied Optics, Physical Optics, Precise Mechanics and Optical System Design. Cover the two aspects of both classical fabrication and workshop test and modern frontier techniques.

Introductions to fabrication process and test, evaluation approach on optical systems and also the principles of instrumentation. Taught through all-round theory studies and technical practices, students are required to be improved in ability of engineering design by combining theory and productive practice and understand tendency of frontier techniques in this field. Optional elective for undergraduate majors in Opto-electronic Information and Instrument Engineering, or Test, Control and Instrumentation. Total 32 hours and 2 points.
